Matthew John Palmer

Having voyaged far and wide in his journey as a songwriter, Matt's influences have ranged from his early upbringing listening to the pop hits of the 60's and 70's to the contemporary rock and folk music of the present day.

Playing guitar and singing since the age of 11, Matt has performed with many different groups which include his collegiate A cappella career at the University of Connecticut, as well as releasing multiple albums in the contemporary rock group Spillway and his self-released debut album, 'Shooting for the Moon', released in the Fall of 2022.

Matt is constantly exploring new and different ways to reach his listeners, and regularly challenges himself to write songs in new genres while still maintaining his unique voice and messages expressed in the songs he writes.
